If you assume I follow the law to the letter you are an ass as the law is in lots of circumstances.

I would strongly support everyone being equal under the law but that's not the same as following the law to the letter

I wouldn't be against anyone's choice to kneel if that's what they wanted to do, although I would not join them. What would there be to boo?

When I asked you your opinion on a matter  and asked you to forget the law and just give me your view on whether something was ok or not, you literal response was “how do you forget the law”

It must be exhausting with all these mental “get out clauses” and “question twisting” you have to keep up with!
