Didn't some of us say Bennett needed a goal for his confidence???

what is going on

Hopefully, this will kick start Bennett scoring now.

Amoo is getting some lovely passes to him and then just runs at the defenders and they are finding it hard to cope with him.

Come on Vale, can we have another couple more goals please.

I love being shut up this season. Absolute pleasure. That’s the debate settled. This squad can do it, we don’t need any players, the manager is great, owners are great.

That’s it.

That's the frustrating thing about the players - they can do it, but not all the time.  It's every 3 or 5 games.  Play teams well below us and they flop.

Lovely footy from the players at the moment.

Frustrating team and that is why we love being Vale supporters.  It is never easy being a Vale supporter.  😉

Trouble is, my mate Dave (posts on here sometimes as Tommy McLaren's Boots) will be convinced the only reason we're winning is that I'm not there.

Not sure what the keeper was up to for the third.

Was he thinking about what he was having for his tea? Wondering if the farm shop at Gloucester Services will still be open?

Woeful first half where the attitude was all wrong. Second half we've shown up and look a far better side than Exeter despite the league positions and the fact that we're missing key players.

Bennett showed he can be a real handful, though he will never be prolific as long as he's got a hole in his arse, and Amoo looking one of the best players in League Two.

Just to note, Brisley has played well and looks a decent third-choice centre-back.

It was a positive that we were only 1-0 down and still in the game at half time. Not wanting to put a downer on it but another night we might not have been so lucky. But hey ho.

As it stands, we're still 10th but only 3 points off the p-offs.

Yeah, but that was down to ourselves and our attitude more than anything. We started the game on the backfoot and didn't get going. Obviously they had a bit of a rocket at half-time and we've shown what a good side we all know we can be on our day in this second half. Need to be at it from the first minute at home though.

Come on Vale, this is a cracking 2nd half.  Was not looking forward to the 2nd half, like most of us.

The difference between a normal Amoo and a confident Amoo is nothing short of night and day. Different player altogether. JMW instead of Geohaghon.

Get him in with a sports psychologist at St Georges Park.

Well done Vale.  That was a magical 2nd half and again shows what the players can do when they show up.

Still in 10th place 🤣
