No credit, they were pi55 poor and there for the taking. A case of heads being elsewhere me thinks.

 

Not worried about your description of the side Vale put out or how they played but I thought it was disrespectful to a side that held a Tony Pulis team to a draw. Like I said, credit where credit's due.

I was describing in my opinion the Newport performance. It was probably a case of after the Lord Mayors Show and thoughts of the replay. We could and should have won the game.

Good luck to them against Boro apart from the cheating git that got Gibbo sent off.

I'll stand by what I said, the worst team I've ever seen selected, not a recognised striker in the starting line up for starters. I can't be arsed to see what team Boro put out but if you're happy with that result then best of luck

I wouldn't agree about the worst team ever selected. I remember too well the Simon Richman, Danny Glover, Ross Davidson sides, now they were horrific.

 

However LL is correct that it was a perfect time to play Newport, after the lord mayors show and all that, giddy about the possibility of playing Mn City etc.

They were definitely there for the taking. So whilst 0-0 may appear a good result, it could be argued we ought to of won the game.
