All I wonder is why didn't the demos at M U, the march against the Venkys at Blackburn, the boycott at Blackpool and the actions of Coventry's fans against their owners split their fanbase?

 

Add on to that the Storming of the directors box at Sjoke and the actions of the Hammers fans. In my opinion the whole issue regarding B & G etc is just a misguided and pathetic excuse by less loyal Vale fans against the demonstrators who by their actions showed just how much they really care.

 

I'm proud that I showed my passion against such poor control of the finances at Port Vale.

 

I would like to turn the argument on it's head and suggest it was the 'I just want to watch the Vale' element that split the fanbase with their lack of concern and general show of apathy.

 

Thing is OS how do you know the fan base of those other clubs are not split.

There were a large group of Man Utd fans that were so peed off that they went and formed there own club, FC of Manchester. I know a lot of Coventry fans that will never step inside the Ricoh again. I am sure if I looked closely at what has happened at those other clubs you will find there has been a split. I was a supporter of B & G AND STILL THINK IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.

 

On the other hand isn't it just normal that groups of people will never all agree with one another. The conservative party are split, the labour party are split and all the religious groups in the world are split. I would put it another way that it would be completely abnormal if we weren't split.
