He has just confirmed to me that he came to Vale Park in the summer and a deal was on the table for him but it fell through due to Rushden.

 

Lots of speculation at the time, might have been interesting to see him here. Although I know a lot of people didn't fancy him

Adams should be looking at some of the talent from the Premiership reserves and and not washed out has beens to get Vale upwardly mobile

Oo-er missus, nay, nay, thrice nay, titter ye not...I'd sooner have the Baron Knights up front than Leon Knight. A walking liability. I'm with Werrington - there are plenty of reserves in those big Championship squads who would love 4 games on the bounce with a month's loan at the Vale. Chris Herd seems to be playing for the Villa now - I remember him being pretty useful down here.

yea im with werrington.young lads in prem sides with point prove...would be ideal.

 

Earlier on 5Live, David Pleat was commenting on the fact that Mancini was having a moan about having to play in the Carling Cup tonight.

 

Pleat's angle was basically "shut up, you've got a massive squad" but, more interestingly, he added that Man City have currently got 24 players out on loan!!!

Just like Brown and Sawyers. Gannon's raving successes from last season. Possibly the reason you can't think of any is that not a lot would soil themselves with league 2 football.

 

Gannon was a joke manager mate with probably no managers he could call on with favours?.....Adams i reckon could?
