Let me give you an example....(this may or may not be correct,only an example of how it could of been done)

 

If Peter Miller introduced BS to Port Vale he may well of agreed an introduction fee of £250,000 payable on conclusion of the deal.

 

However, as the club can't pay it....they propsoe to make the payment in equity (this is quite normal)...

 

Perry Deakin, well maybe his arrangement may have been something similar. A bonus of £150,000 payable in shares.

 

All the above is easy to do.....only approval by the board needed.

As all the information is held by the club, it is their interests to come out and dispel these rumours with the evidence.

OK GUYS, I have no proof but it appears I will be eating humble pie on the subject of the share issue..but I wont be coming over to the dark side just yet... I have another perspective on this,it is known that Miller/Deakin are the brokers with the BS deal and IF it as been signed and sealed with £8/5 million in the bank which I have no proof,then paying them in shares is a good thing in my view,if it was me I would want hard cash in my bank account and do a runner not shares in a tinpot 4th division football club(so to speak) so agreeing to this shows me that Vale have a good deal with BS and they want to be part of it.... Of course I am expecting a fall out when/if the share deal becomes public but technically speaking it is their money they have paid for the shares with....
