So when are we going to all admit that at this moment in time Smith just isn't good enough to warrant a first team place every week? And to think some people were rating him in the millions after a handful of decent games last season. Madness.

 

If he wasn't 'one of our own' he'd get loads more criticism than he generally every does.

 

Nobody “warrants” a guaranteed first team place at the moment. There is a lethargy about the players and the sooner they up the tempo the better. We do have weaknesses that need to be resolved, but what disappoints me most is their lack of desire. Big surprise given Aspo’s approach to the game.

He's just saying that, as with the poor standard of referreeing, you'll get decisions against and for you over a 46 game season.

 

I'm still convinced the penalty v Yeovil last week wasn't a penalty. We got lucky. We were unlucky with the Kee handball yesterday.

As I said elsewhere, I had a lot of respect for Coleman before yesterday but he really let himself down with his antics and has rather soured my view of his club.
