Based on the fact he's had numerous managers/caretakers and not one thought he was the answer. You're letting sentiment come into play as he's a local lad.

 

It took a 2 minute Google of Rob Lainton to realise he was a crock so why couldn't someone at Vale have done the same.

 

Get on the phone to Fleetwood and get Chris Neal back.

 

 

Why would he come when we more or less showed him the door.

When has he cocked it up? He’s played 2 games this season,2 clean sheets, both against teams from a higher division, nothing like giving the kid confidence.

If 'cocking it up' means keeping clean sheets in 2 games against higher division opposition and saving penalties in a shoot out then Ryan can cock it up as much as he wants.

 

The lad should be congratulated and appreciated.

 

And I already said earlier we should not have a go at the Forest loanee either !

Because of the grief Evtimov received for being partially at fault for one goal.

 

He got lucky tonight, imagine if his drop first half or his rush of blood second half had lead to a goal being conceded, he’d have been castigated unnecessarily as Evtimov was.
