I think the question on everyone's lips is, as 7sisters has just pointed out, will there be money made available to MA to bring new players in? Was this question asked? If so, was it answered? All looks good by reading the account of last nights meeting but I think this needs addressing, in my opinion of course !!

I think the club are quite correct in keeping quiet on this subject. Why unsettle the current squad, plus alert teams to the fact we have money.

Okay, so I'm nosey, but still a relevant question me thinks, anyway, competition for places is healthy !! :D

I guess we'll know if and when players are signed. We've been told that MA will get some help, anything beyond that is daft at the minute.

I'd expect the two loan lads to be signed till year end at least and maybe one or two more added but tbh the squad are capable of challenging at the top end of the table already.

Heartening news at least that a civil conversation can be had and points taken on board by both sides. Long may it continue.

No more money then? So no significant player investment? Or have I missed something?

You have :D

No more money for shares right now they're saying, however, the money from BSI (£5 million in 12 months) is there for the club to use how they see fit

Again, they wouldn't go in to money for players which is understandable and I guess many will judge them on that in the end because we are a football club at the end of the day, something previous people in charge at vale have neglected.

Read it again and although there are no shock revelations [didnt really expect any] it broke down a few barriers... it almost humanises them... I think the distance between board and fans is now a step shorter... congratulations PD and PM... still a way to go mind.

Sounds positive, but still no answers about what the £5 - £8m is to be spent on. I assuming that CW, RW Suite and finishing the stand plus moving the club shop will cost max £1m what will the rest be spent on - Dimensions?

Clearing loans and debts if cost effective? They are not going to highlight a massive transfer budget, even if there is one. Ask questions and make suggestions, but mainly wait and see.

Was anything said about the ££ implications of the various "deals" that we have on the go at the moment or more specifically when will the funding wash through the Vale's account?

Has Bratt been paid off?

Mike Lloyd brought his shares I believe . Bill would not go unless he did so !
