Just happy to finally see some transfer activity...Think these are solid signs so far just waiting for the spectacular with Eagles and a strike partner for Pope. Only need at least another 8 first teamers by my reckoning.

 

Just a thought we could potentially field a complete homegrown/local back four of Boot,Gibbons,Smith,Davis,Yates. Club could have an identity and soul again to connect with fans like I felt the players did during the admin period.

Joe Davis is a dreadful signing unless he's here as 4th choice CB and we sign Bikey to partner Smith and another solid 3rd choice CB.

I'm wondering who is doing the scouting for Davis? Surely Brown wont have seen enough of him or know much about him to want to bring him in?

It looks like a very cheap option to me.

As long as we keep him off the pitch and away from other humans he should stay out of trouble then. Still, innocent until proven otherwise.

 

Hopefully he'll prove to be an astute signing, and if not then at least we have a new nationality to add to the history books, our first Colombian.

Thought we were trying to improve the team not go backwards.Signing Davis is an obvious backward step the money could be used to sign a player who can play in the first team.

Why is Brown throwing money away by signing Davis and on a two year contract.He must have seen what happened with the Bruno signings on two year contracts.
