It's crazy, been following this for a while & from what I gather, it seems to be a similar kind of situation to what Blackpool were/are in, albeit more of a lengthy decline rather than an immediate drop through the leagues.

They're in actual danger of dropping into L2 now though, lost their last 6 too. Haven't had a top 6 finish since 69–70, can't imagine what it must be like for the fans. I've read in places some are even willing to accept relegations just to get the owners out.

Was this pre planned? If so could the club face a points deduction as they didn't do enough to stop it? Or was it spur of the moment?

From what I've read pre-planned via social media. As Tomo said, I don't think a points deduction will bother that many of their fans - they (rightly in my opinion) want to get rid of the owners and now don't care what it takes (within reason - even despite the circumstances I don't think any reasonable fan would condone the odd bits of violence that took place)

I agree 100%.Its a pity they have had to do as they have done.I would expect that they (the fans) considered such consequences and decided it would be worth the points deduction if they get deducted. But IF they get points deducted then relegated the club will be less attractive to buy.IMHO a points deduction would be worth it IF it got SISU out.
