Even more so when you watch how the likes of Jose & Westley behave. Having said that there are still some very decent managers out there, like Rafa. I think Rudgie truly appreciated what he achieved in life and never forgot his roots which reflects great credit on the man. Success never went to his head and his family wouldn't let it anyway!

I wonder if he's turned it down. I'd be amazed if he hasn't been nominated for one before, especially considering some of the people who have been honoured (like Bill Bratt). I disagree with the honours list but the great man definitely deserves honouring in some way. Do they still give keys to the city?

Clearly inspired by this thread I had a awful dream 2016 claimed John Rudge too and he had to receive posthumus freedom of the city and an MBE.
