They did say at 7.40 that Gannon's position was going to be discussed by the Board today.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm leaning towards the opinion that if so many people claim to have heard he's gone but RS have nothing it's probably just a rumour and won't happen :(

This is where the problem began, if Gannon was the manager they wanted he should have been allowed to select his own backroom staff.

 

When Sinnott was manager he was stuck with Glover and Grew, one of which applied for the job and was overlooked for Sinnott (so he'd really have been behind him). I was privvy to some conversations whereby they slagged Sinnott off something rotten. A manager needs the support of ALL his staff and it appears Gannon hasn't. Despite all this though he hasn't helped himself with his attitude, treatment of players and his selections.

if this is true its the best news ive ever heard since he took over hopefully the board make the right judgement on that idiot exodus this farse gone on way too long now time for change horse nd grew have my backing if there our new management team untill the end of the season but i have no faith in the board makeing a right call on this 1 we shudda sacked gannon after the busgate situation fingers crossed the fans will be informed about the depatures within the next 48 hours

cannot see it happening,dimbo gannon has never struck me as the sort to admit a mistake and walking on vale would tell everybody he was wrong.the board will not pay him off they need that money to fight off mo.i would love to be wrong but i can see gannon sticking out the season in which case the start off next season we will still be stuck with him and the board,also bet we have at least 11 players come in preseason because most of this lot will be sold/let go
