I do not know Andoh`s insurance situation, would it be the club`s as employer that has covered his pay or does the club claim it from an employers insurance. Does the insurance only cover his contract period?

I am sure there is a communication issue here. On the face of it £500 per week until January to prove his fitness would not seem unreasonable. However I suspect there is more to this than is so far in the public domain.

 

But Vale are offering £500 per week for two years, not just till January.

 

Given his potential, and the potential to profit if he does well, there ought to be a compromise available.

I'd be dissapointed if enoch left. He was a really exciting player and is what I want to see at a football match. He may not be the same player when he gets back but he may come back stronger that's a risk we'll have to take. We ought to sort something reasonable out with him because when fit he was a dangerous player and although his assists and goals need improving his other work around the pitch was a more than good enough contribution. And I'm sure most would rather have him than kelly.

The truth comes out. We are struggling to pay a decent wage to a decent player. However I am not going to blame Smurf. I think the reality is with barely 2,000 season tickets sold, few sponsorship deals announced and years of shocking cup runs, we have little choice.

 

Let us all be honest. Andoh is worth £1,000 a week. £500 is talking the pass, although personally I'd rather that extra money had been offered to Leitch Smith had it been available. Wonder how his pay negotiations went?

Trouble is Bon'Ami we do not know the detail of 'negotiations' past or present (if still active).

 

What we do know the lad is suffering a long-term football injury and that most of us wish him a quick recovery back onto the 'Park.

But which 'truth' is that TJH? We simply do not know what has been 'negotiated'. So far it's all Twitter shorts.

 

Off topic I know, but by way of example: a Union Rep barged in to my office one time and verbally slammed me for having the gall to caution one of my staff for being late on duty (the fact they were drinking mates certainly had something to do with his outburst). He went on to say what a valuable member of the team the staffer was and that for the future I should be more considerate when dealing with him.

 

After the Union Rep had calmed down I gave him a spreadsheet detailing the many 'late o duty' over a 12 month period - more than all the other staff put together.

 

Sadly, he didn't believe me.
