Jose Morais

Been with Mourinho since Inter,

Is under contract in Turkey but a presidential change over the last couple of days looks to be mean there is a new president wanting a Turkish manager, all gets finalized in meetings later this month (21/6 deadline.....??)

Gone odds on too

Definitely a journeyman by his CV, plenty of big club experience as an assistant, time to move up? But would be reliant upon Brown for local knowledge. What would he cost? How reliable/realistic the loan deals?

Likely that Mourinho would help out with loanees and also offer advice if needed. My only concern would be the fact that he doesn't seem to stay around too long(a bit like his mate).Hopefully,Browny will be in a position to step in if this happens?

From what little I know it seems to be Morais which the bookies are now backing. Still a long way to go though however I'd be shocked if we didn't appoint the guy if he wants it. Superb coaching background, excellent contacts and the chance to aline ourselves a bit with Man Utd. This seems to good an opportunity to turn down so let's hope we're not dissapointed come the final appointment.

Profiled in the Sun 19/12/2015

A BLOKE called Jose is a shock contender for the Swansea job after leaving Chelsea.

Not that Jose though... it is Mourinho’s long-time right-hand man Jose Morais.

Morais, 50, was the unsung hero at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Stamford Bridge where he helped mastermind titles with Mourinho.

Now the Portuguese has jumped ahead of Marcelo Bielsa for the vacant Liberty Stadium job.

Swans chairman Huw Jenkins has been hugely impressed with Morais in terms of coaching and match tactics.

Edit Guidolin got the job, still there.
