So 11 games, 16 and a half years nearly at VP(assuming we're not counting the Rotherham game Santa mentioned!)

 

Totting up home and away(and neutral with the LDV) looks like we've won about 6 in 20 since the Birmingham game!

 

The Friday night question still remains, last defeat at VP?

We beat York on a Thursday in the 93/94 promotion season due to a fixture pile up in April.

 

We lost to Walsall on a Thursday in 2000/01. Again, a fixture pile up.

Well if we can't move to Mondays we'll have to lobby God for an eighth day of the week to play on..I'm sure NS can swing it

Honestly can't think of a game we've won on a Sunday since home or away?

I could be wrong(I hope I am) but it's getting on for 19 years in a couple of weeks if it's the case. @ St Andrews against Brum, 23rd February 1997. Unless of course Boxing Day or the first New year game has fallen on a Sunday somewhere in between? 'Regulation' Sunday's though I'm struggling!

 

We've had 3 goes this season Maidenhead, Walsall, Coventry. Chasetown, Canvey Island. Plymouth(FA Cup) a couple of years ago we were 2 up and chucked it! Doncaster with the Richard Walker tackle!

Anyone else remember going this one, back in the days of Tony Francis and Jimmy Greaves on Central Match Live!

 

I remember it well. We banished my poor gran from her living room as she lived on Biddulph Moor and the match was on Central (we get Granada). It worries me that it was that long ago

I developed a hefty dislike of Jimmy Greaves from those matches, a bitterness I carry with me to this day!
