I spoke to Smurf yesterday. He wants to make an announcement and considered doing it at a forum but is concerned that any forum might turn a bit chaotic. I suggested he should use the Radio Stoke sports programme so he could have time to say what he wanted uninterrupted. He said they don't give him enough time but I still think that is the best option.

 

If only there was some way of uploading a video on the internet.

Still no news about anything to do with the proposed deal.He's been back almost a week and nothing(unless I've missed it).

 

I'm guessing It IS OFF or that both sets of legal teams are looking very deep into the deal.But still not seen anything official from the club.

is it me or is it really not that hard to communicate any news??

 

Every club puts official statements on their websites first & then follow up in local & national press interviews.

 

I really dont know what is so difficult other than the fact this ***** really doesnt know what hes doing or what hes said previously on a day to day basis

 

I personally think he went to the US as billy big boots demanding his £4m for a major loss making business & was laughed out of town.

 

If he had positive news surely he would of announced it by now. If he hasnt & hes staying then hes got to either

 

A) face angry despondant fans because hes following through on his threat about budget cuts etc

 

B) back down from those threats & swallow his pride & push us on to have a real go next season.
