The article in the Senile quiotes Malc as saying that a condition from the board was that the £50k must be new investment. Double standards again as the backing for Micky to join the board was not new investment. Why can they not be consistant in their decision making? I think we all know why.

Sorry but NLV if they didn't want it should have said so at the start and not now they can't deliver.

 

I really fear for for Port Vale - if the current lot are bad at delivery, what does the anti boards movement on delivery say.

 

We have too many people all creating groups and getting a bit of media attention, but no one actually delivers when it matters.

After reading this I can totally understand why it was turned down, asking him to put up a guarantee is a joke when Vale are so much in debt, what is wrong with just the initial 50k investment, why should Hirst lose more money should the club go into administration. Absoloute joke and bet they never asked for a guarantee from Mickey Adams.

Also spotted the EGM sentence right at the end, would another EGM actually change anything further. Surely all that would happen would be the board backing themselves again with the invisible two backing them and prolonging the stranglehold they have.

 

Jackson is still the main puppeteer IMO.

You clearly have no grasp on reality

 

The board, immediately after the EGM and in the wake of a massive shareholder revolt offered a seat on the board, they did not at the time stipulate any conditions etc, the board then kicked into normal operating and did an about turn, history has shown us this is what they do.

 

Its funny how they have been trying to attract people onto the board who are willing to put up the minimum 50k, trawling Stoke on Trent [ and USA ] with a begging bowl looking for people daft enough to invest 50k, these people they have attempted to attract are out there, I personally know one well and have spoke via a third party about another. Not one single new director has been attracted so they try and insist on NLV putting in 50k.

 

You are not intelligent enough to understand that what the board were quick to offer after the EGM to appear to be willing to change was a lie, shame on you, and the board

They could have appointed someone from up here........very dissapointed from them TBH, doesn't matter how hollow the offer was, there is a much higher chance of altering the politics from within than outside. The only reason it should have been turned down should be due to the fact it could not have been physically achieved and this reason should have been given.

 

With respect there is much more to this than the press article portrays, much more and I suggest that if you were in Malcolm's shoes you wouldn't be posting as you have. The board never had any intention of NLV going onto the board.
