Very few teams will be competing with Crawley spending-wise, so there's no point getting frustrated about that and blaming the board, but it takes more than hard cash to build a good team.

We've been handed a very tough first game and Mickey will be well aware of that so I expect our team to be 'up for it', however, I wouldn't like to predict the result because they're a real unknown quantity. Overall though I expect us to have a decent start, ignoring the Huddersfield game because they're a good side and it's the dreaded League Cup (which Stoke won in 1972 in case you weren't aware!).

I think crawley will be full of themselves and grab a couple of early goals before we get into gear, we will hold them back and grab a single consolation.

We will play better against hudders but lose out

There will be a minimum of 5 "ya know's" in each after match interview and a couple of "whatever will be's" between games. Players will be "up for it" and ready to "show/realise their potential" in the press but a little disappointing when on the grass. Supporters will get blamed and lack of support will be blamed for the dire atmosphere after the first few home games..... better away results than home will be the struggle.

We'll probably lose against Crawley, we've not scored in five games out of six against Barnet, and we never look like scoring at Burton.

 

All in all, a bright start!

we will lose them all, there will be more protests and bratt + co will resign and then i,ll buy a season ticket and be able to watch the home games again

 

we will because of the extra revenue coming into the club be able to buy better players to take us on to promotion in may....everybody happy!!!!
