Saw Grimsby v Eastleigh in the first leg of the Conference play-off semi finals. Both of their goals were crackers, pretty sure it was Arnold who scored both of their goals that day. Really good player.

 

Both Brizzle Rovers and Grimsby are big clubs for the Conference,

 

Remember us playing Grimsby quite a lot in League games during the 1990s and early 2000s.

Decent game which petered out in the second half.

 

Aristote Nsiala was pure class at the back for Grimsby. Huge presence, pacey, strong and looked like he could play a bit too. Put in some well timed challenges in that second half. Only 23, good pedigree (came through at Everton), may be worth a look?

We were reportedly after him a year or so ago, so I was interested to see what he was like. I was impressed, I feel we've needed someone pacey and powerful in defence for years instead of the slow grisly old pro type we usually end up with!
