not been since barnsley away so i can't comment, but to the people who have been watching:

 

3 starts for marshall and moore together and 3 wins - is that a coincedence? or are they playing big parts in the wins (obviously marshall has scored a couple)

 

we all know what happened when he had JMW and ashley vincent on form

 

there is a much better balance to the team but inniss has made a BIG impact. o connor having a great run of form and Williamson still cant hit a barn door ;)

right 'ere guppy, ready to admit I was wrong to write the vales chances off, suprising what a couple of competent players have done to the team.,bet you didn't think that we would get 9 points from those games.

I am delighted Page has read the forum posts and grasped that we needed to change it at the back, play with a positive intent in the form of two wide men. Tuesday is a big game. As a Vale fan since 1968 when the Vale start to generate expectation they usually puncture the balloon with a deflating loud bang. Enjoy today but don't burst the balloon against Oldham. I felt today was just desert after we stuffed them at home and lost earlier in the season. Today I felt the boot was on the other foot. Neal was superb along with O'Connor and Inniss Come on you Whites.

I Knew we were a half decent side but I didn't expect to spank Doncaster and best Walsall draws or one win from two would have sufficed for me. Oldham is a must win and who knows we may be in the top 6 this time next week
