It could be that luer and o Sullivan have a clause in the loans that they have to be in the match day 16? Hence we just couldn't fit another forward player on the bench

Campion was given a chance at Bristol City, he didn't take it and was taken off after having a very poor game. Footballs all about taking your chances when you get them, his time wil come again and he has to be more up for it.

 

Given one chance against the best side on the league. Not exactly fair IMO.

Always happy with a result, didn't like MA's style of play but if it got results you tolerate it of course.I would like a manager who gets the opposition worrying about us rather that gets random results. Rob may be that manager but not seeing it myself at the moment.

The only problem i have is this desire to make sure he understands the need for 'hold-up play' all well and good, but for me, if he's a natural scorer as the stats tend to show (at least as far as the reserves are concerned) then we should let him have 'his head.' To many times, I see kids being over-coached. I doubt that Spurs are getting hung up about Harry Kane's hold-up play as long as he keeps knocking those goals in!

Just on the subject of players scoring goals by the bucket in the reserves... may I remind everyone about one Louis Briscoe. I'm pretty sure he was averaging a goal a game in the reserves, but he hasn't replicated that form in first team action... Now at Torquay I believe
