Money talks these days if it wasn't for the silly wages the players they have now wouldn't have even give man city a chance shame really how football is turning out. But if the players can get it well done to them still should have been capped tho lol

They should have capped it years ago

 

If you class them as sports people than no, they're not worth it. However, if you class them as entertainers, in the same bracket as movie stars, then they are worth it and given the global appeal of football then you can see why they are paid what they are paid. A top actor can earn £20m a movie.

The fact is that Man City are paying more than the NY Yankees, the LA Dodgers, Real Madrid, etc. and yet they only sit 9th in the list of most valuable sports teams (per Forbes).

 

They are paying way over the odds and the authorities just sit back in their comfy office chars and count their own cash.

 

At least Liverpool are performing well on the field of play.

Because it's in the news again and don't see the point in starting a new thread.

 

Interesting that only two non-footballing team makes the top 10..for a long time seemed that NBA and NFL players received outrageous pay but now football has taken over

 

Would not be surprised to see the PL overtake the NBA re average pay in the near future
