PSG are no mugs, certainly with the likes of Cavani, Lavezzi and Ibrahimovic they could easily beat Chelsea. They should be two good ties at least for the English sides whether they lose or not!

United will play Ashley Young to try and compete with him.

Why on earth would anyone want to do that ? The nature of an open draw is the chance element of being able to meet anyone.

Although in this case they are all big clubs, imagine how much the FA Cup would lose if it was pre-drawn all the way through or even 2 rounds at a time. When we got a 3rd round home tie against Plymouth, one of the best things was the fairly good chance of meeting a massive club in round 4 - if we had known the winners played Brighton a lot of the tradition and romance of the Cup would have been removed.

I'd be genuinely interested to know of any possible advantage of any kind a pre-draw gives, bar travel arrangements perhaps.

 

Might be United, Athletico and Real Madrid and PSG, with an all Madrid final ?

Quite a few competitions do that..I heard that was part of the draw process butit appears not

Bad wording on my part..I didn't mean I think they should do that, just that I'd heard that was going to happen so they "should have done that as well by now" is what I meant
