So you would keep Yates over Jones and Robertson?

Without a doubt - don't get me wrong I'd ideally want better than Yates.

I don't rate Jones in the slightest - he has pace but can't defend and is injured the majority of the time. Robertson would be worth keeping in the squad for his goals but he's a **** defender.

On the train home, freezing and soaking. What an awful way to treat away fans.

Both sides were poor. 3 goals flattered them.

I was surprised at the team sheet. With a poor pitch and horrible wind this game didn't suit neat touch players like dodds and even lines. Jeno would have really worried them with his pace.

Tomlin and dodds really poor. I thought pope looked dangerous without creating enough.

Knott looks a decent prospect. Energy and wants the ball. His corner for the first and I think he might have got the second assist. Put him in the middle with lines and loft and we might have cracked it.

Is that ur way of diverting the reason as to why he gets picked ahead of hugill?

I rate Hugill and am happy to see him whenever he plays - I feel we are handling him right by bringing him on. I just think we maybe bring him on too late.

He seems an impact player to me whilst we're bedding him in.

Thanks for the first hand assessment. Interesting point about the pitch / conditions, right up Fattyfenwa's street which may partly account for his two goals.

I'm sorry but what does the lad have to do to get a start??? Ben scores the odd 1 once in a blue moon and gets a start, despite not scoring for god knows how long Pope gets picked every week. Tomlin was 4 in 4 games prior to his injury just before the Brighton game.

Hugo has to start, it's not like his scoring from scraps like most, he's making his own chances - if hes ready, he should be starting! If he was 16-17 yrs old then maybe.... But at 20 Ish he big enough and old enough to start!

The game Hugill started he got subbed at half-time.

I think he'll have more of an influence coming on - he lifts everyone. That didn't happen when he started and he gets dragged down into games by our inability to dictate any game.
