Council loan

CAVALIER

Recommended Posts

Heard from a very reliable source that we have not paid this months instalment. If we have sold the number of season tickets as told to us by the club then surely we should have no problem in meeting this? Furthermore, if true and I have no reason to doubt the source then what will this cost us?

When was it due?

How late is it?

If the Council loan thread is true then the abysmal 5 should never ever be allowed back at the club once voted out

Its just shocking

I am at a loss what to do and think

After a great footballing day too :(

Why another thread. Argrrrrrrrrrrr.

I have a nasty feeling that the Board have already realised that they will lose at the GM and are leaving as many land mines as possible for the new owners. The Books could well be worse than anyone imagined and this lot are spending money that they know the business cannot stand.

That can't be true, Simon. We have been told categorically that:

"The Board of Port Vale FC always, without exception, acts in the best interests of Port Vale Footboll Club, its shareholders, all of its supporters and the wider local community"

and that's why they want us to vote for them.

Is there not some kind of law or act stopping businesses from trading in the very short time before a possible takeover?

I hope the FA were serious when they said they'd follow up the Mudie issue.

If the EGM goes **** up (Robbie abstains) the next step will be forcing an audit of the accounts. Only needs 5% of shareholders to call this I believe.

EGM or audit, we will find out what the ****ers are hiding in those accounts.

The question for me is are the club trading while insolvent?

My bad. Thanks for putting me right.

Assuming that the board are in fact doing as some people above believe, and are leaving the club in a mess deliberately because they think they have lost, I believe that this can only mean one thing:

They have heard Robbie is going to vote against them at the EGM.

I think this because it is still very uncertain which was the EGM will go. Therefore, why would the board leave the club in a state financially, when they could still yet pull through at the EGM? It leaves them in a lose-lose situation, as they could leave themselves in a financial pickle.

Unfortunately this is nothing new as this board have been running this club on a basis of taking from peter to give to paul for over 5 years. Its so when Mo takes over and his acheivments dont match the promises he made, due to the mess they have left the club in, for the board it will be some sort of moral highground, sad, sad *******s.
