Well it is only a couple of days away and with us being within touching distance of the play offs will we strengthen?

 

I do think we are still desperate for another defender as I don't think there was any defensive cover on the bench yesterday,i also think if JMW has ligament damage he could be out for a while,so will we bring in a replacement or recall Mohammed:unsure:

 

Somebody said that we were linked with a Salisbury striker on twitter(I don't do twitter so cant confirm this) do we need another striker? maybe if Hughes leaves as I am sure he wont be too happy with his game time at the moment(one reason he left County).

Agree that hughes will go, would suit both vale and hughes i think. Cant see the budget stretching to any further faces

MA is very loyal and is likely to stick with what he ha unless Norman takes a chance with a Hughes like flagship signing.

If we do, then it will be loans I'd expect, and the cost of them can vary. Even though we are 7th, I still aren't getting excited about a promotion push. Maybe feeling no pressure like that is a good thing for us. If we do look like pushing, then a couple of loan players such as a centre mid. If not, then maybe see what the likes of oneil can do?

I'd rather we threw some contact extensions out (Lines & Robbo) than brought in new faces. Let Kaid go and replace him the only one I think. A few loans until the end of the season (especially if the parent club picks up a chunk of the tab) would be useful as it's something we're under using.

Some wheeling and dealing of fringe players will be needed.

 

Centre midfield and central defence would be the priorities at the minute.

 

We already have an experienced core of players so I wonder if Adams might be tempted to bring a younger player from the Premier League in on a half season loan, funded by their parent club?
