Leicester fans have to travel 50 miles, Plymouth have to travel 250 miles. They have to move Stoke

I agree with davo, Stoke will move. I believe they have a bit of history with Leicester fans too. When I was at uni in Stoke n they played them Leicester fans trashed a couple of the pubs on leek road after getting off the train. So much so that the next time they were shepherded into the student union venue by the plod. Making it Friday or Sunday will remove some of that issue for the police

Stoke will be moved IMHO.

 

Shorter trip for their visitors and we've already had a game moved to accommodate a Stoke game. Usually there is a bit of give and take in terms of games being moved between the two clubs.

It would be nice for Stoke to publicly declare they are willing to move to Sunday. They can even do it tongue in cheek because the police will determine the larger crowd game will take place Saturday because of potential "security and crowd safety" issues. Pathetic really but not much we can do about it.

No way can it be Friday - as said already, we play PNE on Wednesday and presumably Plymouth play that day (New Years Day) too and wont want a trip like that 48 hrs after a league game. Just checked - its their big derbu game against Torquay (no sarcasm intended) and even more so, they wont play 2 games of such importance so close together.

So that leaves Sunday, as Stoke wont be moved.

Nothing inherently wrong with a Sunday 2pm or 3pm kickoff, better away support than Friday, and we could look at a crowd of 6000 or more if prices are set around £15 or so.
