Referees?

It doesn't seem to just be bad decisions right now - missing a handball or something, but downright illogical ones too. Like Oliver getting sent off for Crewe for diving yesterday. Side on in the box and a Crawley player barges into the side of him, he goes down and gets a second yellow. Wasn't a penalty, but it wasn't a dive either.

Good to see the FA overturned Kilkenny's red card for Preston and banned the "in form" Garner instead. Preston should've quit while they were ahead and left well alone....

Cheers for that, I honestly thought the ref blew for a free kick for us, I didn't think it was a penalty, when he booked Oliver I couldn't believe it.

It was just a coming together to be fair, what really grated with the Crewe fans was the fact that an almost identical incident later with a Crawley player went unpunished. Bad decisions I can live with, inconsistency is what annoys fans.

Then tu b salt into the wounds the referee walked through the bar smirking and laughing after the match.

You should try being a ref on sunday, No Assistants and no forth official.

The issue for me seems to be the amount of mistakes the ref made on Tuesday and they became daft. In the middle of the pitch a player falls over with minimum contact, the ref could not have seen it, as, he had his back to the incident, yet out came the card.

Being a Ref is hard and the only support you have is the other officials, but most refs do not get abused, they are moaned at (lets be fair we all see things with rose tinted glasses) but when they are booed off, they have normally had a bad game.

The current "topic" in the press is that English football is being undermined by match fixing to enable those nasty Asian Betting Syndicates to make money.

Asian Betting Syndicates + bent officials = MONEY ! 2+2 DOES =4

What are the Odds on some dork official making a richard of himself on the Telly this weekend.

Non Penalty given, valid Penalty refused. Money Money Money

Utter garbage that, they are inept and can be wrong in law when getting things wrong. I've never met one or come across one who seemed in the slightest dubious as per your comments above.

Players can score goals, give away free kicks, penalties, cautionable offences etc, officials can only react to situations.
