Are you bonkers! Why would there be any trouble? Why even mention hat in your post? Stupid

Cor blimey, mate, touchy or what?

Before you personally abuse someone on here by calling them stupid( and I am far from it ) you ought not to misinterpret posts.

I did not intend to suggest anything negative, just made a comment that was it refreshing not to have any news of problems involving our fans!

Suggest you calm down Valiant and take a chill pill! I'll write this off as a misunderstanding.;)

Did you actually watch the match?

JMW was very poor, other than the goals and the assist (which I would take every match), great finish for the first and an excellent penalty, however he showed how one footed he was last night, struggled to beat his man at times and consistently passed it to the opposition.

For me man of the match was Lines, he just stood out, his passing, switching play was excellent (as expected). I also though Chilvers was very good, that one heading clearance in the second half was excellent defending and I thought he played better than Robertson who was also ok. Overall though there were some very bad performances, our midfield needs Lofty in there, hes the engine of the team. Griff looked like it was his level, didnt see a forward pass from him and was one of his weaker performances Ive seen. Pope was alright, very unlucky not to score with that header, Hughes looked awful, off the pace, bad touch, bad everything. Williamson looked quality as usual (and as you would expect coming on with the opposition shattered). Lines definitely man of the match with Chilvers in second.

Change the record. It's not his natural wing. He's played the vast majority of his career on the right wing and had numerous good games. To say that a left footer has to play on the left wing are dinosaur tactics straight out of a Mike Bassett beginners guide to tactics book.
Neill Warnock's words not mine. I suppose you know more than him as well eh George?

What it looked like on tele was a completely biased unproffesional piece of media crap - from the presenters to the has been pundits they were begging for a cup upset right up to the 3rd goal going in - well done mickey and the team for giving that bunch of football wannabees a good sound thrashing and sticking it up the BT broadcast morons.

"The non existent segregation just added to the feeling it wasn't a competitive game. It had that feeling of a pre season friendly. "

It (the match) looked like the above on the telly

How is it refreshing? How many football games have Port Vale been involved with this season? How many have been effected by crowd trouble? 3 if you include the nothing incident at Oldham.

We got through, which really was all we wanted.

My main comment is that the match showed AGAIN how much we miss Lofty in the midfield.

Our engine room, as put by other posters is missed every time we play without him. He definitely brings our other players into the game allowing them to do their jobs. Without him we are sadly lacking in that area.

Afraid to agree that Grif was utterly useless and if he ever picks his head up and passes a ball forward I will personally do a jig and rub my eyes in disbelief!

Others who come in when Captain Doug is off do try hard but they are way, way behind him in vision, drive, enthusiasm and ability to get into areas that may hurt the opposition. Hope he's fit and raring to go Saturday.

The form of Lines just lately combined with Loft alongside him are a must every game for us. If only we could magic up another midfielder as good, if not better than them then we would be on our way to becoming a side to really reckon with(if we can also get a central defender to complement them). Not asking much, are we?;)

I see you have not apologised for the abuse you threw at me! I should have known better.

Maybe the chill pill has not yet taken affect?

I think that's an exaggeration, it's not refrehsing cos there being trouble is very much the exception

My point entirely.

People are getting hung up on the trouble at a couple of games way more than they should do! There is a very small minority of trouble makers, do we have to talk about them on every thread?

The way that onestepbeyond is talking its like he expected the 200ish Vale that travelled to Shortwood went down for a good old fashioned kick off with the OB and the locals.
