[For Us All]

Never a dull moment is there,someone's now complained that the Commission doesn't contain any black or ethnic minorities.May'be that's because nobody from those groups volunteered,like the others did?

Should always be the best people for the role regardless of race, religion, sex etc. anyway.

Dyke has said up to two more members may be appointed.

 

There is a common feature with all these people and it is their views will never amount to more than those of pundits. For the England team to be more successful a greater number of good players need to be developed through improved coaching at all children / youth age groups. That is a straight forward task even if it will take a decade to deliver significant results. A commission is not needed to do that, simply copy the Netherlands and Spain.

 

I feel Greg Dyke is a guy who often ends up in a poor position at the centre of a high profile problem. His approach here is heading straight for that situation again.

Will be interesting now to see the structure that is put in place for the commission..committees, working groups, oversite, governance etc

Absolutely..provided they bring necessary skills, knowleldge and/or experience to the commission and aren't select becasue they are black or form an ethnic community to meet some 'diversity quota'.

Race should not be brought into these issues, it's the best people for the job. I wouldn't have Ferdinand personally but would have had one of the Neville's, Beckham and someone like Mourinho or someone who has played or managed in a variety of countries.

I believe the Commission are keen to approach the likes of Mourinho and Wenger.
