Where do the FL keep digging these refs up from?

 

The linesmen are even worse. A classic example of this has now become a long standing joke in the Bycars. Just before both kick offs the linesmen are supposed to walk around the goal and inspect the integrity of the nets. They do perform this ritual, but every game this season the linesmen simply tug on the nets and have all failed to notice a huge hole in the bottom right corner if the net. The hole is large enough for a large dog to get through but has remarkably gone totally unnoticed twice a game for each game this season. Which just proves these goons simply go through the motions instead of doing their job properly.

Lines was the clear MOM as is role allowed him to be alot freeier. I was really happy to see him run at people. I've always admired his pace but he never seemed to use it. With Griff being the rock he is, he can play that role. He couldn;t if he played with Birchy or Lofty as they aren't as defensive minded. I must say I thought Dicko was superb. He showed his class and quality. He was clearly fired up and had a point to prove. He's never been quick but his fitness is exceptionally. He is really growing as a vale player. I'd like to see Jones play that role maybe. Less defending/ More attacking for DJ- Just a thought. I thought the diamond really suited us. One final thing, I just wanted to say how good Mr Yates was again. For someone who lost his place to Duffy last year, and from what I heard at one point last year was told he can go out on loan, He is super consistent. Always gives 100% and rarely makes a mistake. He never really gets any plaudits as well.

Yes. I'd be hard pushed to name a team that isn't cynical though in any league.
