Benno asked a rather pertinent question and one which many are trying to avoid/ignore, ie, why are we so expensive compared to others? As for Smurf, I wish I had the time to go to the bookies on his recommendation earlier as the horse won easily. Leave the ****ers alone.

Comparison of admission prices has to be done on a like for like basis. Some clubs are all-seater, some have a wide range of pricing between ends, centre of sides, height above pitch, padded seats, and low prices for poor views. Some have categories of matches, with £5 or more differences, even selling certain games for £10, and lower pricing for paying in advance. The comparisons are very useful, but need a close check of some of the lower figures. There have been threads on this before.

Sorry to be pedantic but we DON'T.

 

We did sign up to the European Convention on Human Rights but there are still exceptions to it in the UK which are covered by the Public Order Act ( things like harrassing, indecency, incitement to racism etc) and anti-terrorism legislation which prohibits publicising classified information stretching to calling for the monarchy to be overthrown.

 

So, technically SOME freedom of speech is a right but there are exceptions...

I don't think that either Gary or Smurf have done themselves any favours by tweeting the more personal stuff. A cyber spat on Twitter is probably not the best way to go about things. I've 'cyber world known' Gaz for ages and was once admin on his website. I've even met the bloke! I can confirm he's a miserable so 'n so most of the time but no way would he want to do harm to the Club quite the opposite. With regard to them tweeting their feelings I suppose it's what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Bet he's loving having his own thread on here!

I just don't get this thread,what/who/why is this Gary Benson so important to Vale fans,is he a millionaire who wants to invest in the club or just another ordinary Vale fan who is an attention seeker, the latter comes to mind,to me he seems to have no life except to find and pick fault with anything to do with Vale,cannot understand why Matin Tideswell if giving him the time of day unless he as some massive scandal on SMURF,This thread is making G B look like a rite twerp and a trouble maker who at his age should know better..
