Can anyone confirm if Radio Stoke will broadcast live commentary of ALL Vale's league games this season?

 

Or is this service only available via Valiant Player?

Are Signal now getting interested in covering the odd vale game when Stoke don't clash? Seems interesting how NS and the club seem in Signals back pocket at the moment.

Doesn't help matters that Grahame McCarrry or what ever his name is in charge of football coverage ( Crewe fan )

It's now much better - you can see highlights of every game and video interviews. Worth it imho.

I think there's a "contract" in place regarding who broadcasts the games. I think normally this is with the local BBC station of the club concerned but I did see a news article recently (unfortunately I cannot remember the club) which announced a club having a new contract with a local commercial station.

 

So, I guess it would be up to Signal to "bid" for the Vale games.

 

I also think that the contract allows BBC Stoke the right to broadcast the games but I don't think there is an obligation for them to do so (which is probably why they have left out the odd one over the years) although it would make sense having agreed the contract for them to broadcast all of them.

 

I agree with other posters that the Valiant World subscription is good value for exiles and the revenue helps the club too.

Last season Radio Sjoke tranmitted sports update at 20 and 40 past the hour.

 

Are they planning to do the same this season?

 

Anyone know?
