Two for one ticket offer for Walsall match

 

Port Vale and Capital One will be offering supporters the chance to claim an extra ticket when purchasing their own for the match against Walsall.

 

 

 

Nearly 10,000 fans will get a taste of the Capital One Cup for free this season, thanks to a brand new “buy one get one free” offer for Rounds 1 and 2 of the competition.

 

 

 

Capital One, the credit card company and sponsor of The Football League Cup, is giving fans of participating home clubs the chance to claim an additional match ticket for free when purchasing their own ticket.

 

 

The Capital One 2 for 1 promotion will be running across Rounds 1 and 2 of the Capital One Cup 2013/14, with special codes live in local radio and newspaper media from 8th July. Supporters can claim their free ticket by quoting the code when purchasing their ticket from the club box office.

 

 

 

Michael Woodburn, Chief Marketing Officer at Capital One, added: “At Capital One we are delighted to announce what we feel is a brilliant offer for fans, allowing around 10,000 supporters to attend a Round 1 or Round 2 fixture for free. Last season’s competition provided incredible drama and storylines on the pitch, and now we’re thrilled to help so many fans enjoy the start of another great journey in the Capital One Cup.”

Supporters MUST purchase their tickets prior to the match to allow themselves to be scanned into Vale Park, supporters will NOT be able to pay at the turnstiles.

The club has not apologised for the serious ticket office failures ahead of the Brentford game that saw a large number of fans locked out before kick off. I am therefore not bothering to drive the 140 mile round trip to watch tonight's game.

BLIMY,even the none moaners are moanin,THE CLUB WERE GIVEN 350 FREE TICKETS ... 10,000 TICKETS FOR HOME CLUBS ... END OV ... Where dus it state fans were locked out of the ground before kick off,avent read any where on here that OVF members were locked out

Infact don't you think the Sentinal would have picked it up,it would make a great story,these false stories just damage the clubs image and are uncalled for, lets see facts not fantasies

"Locked out"...who was locked out?

 

Has there been anything in local media from the club on the issued faced by fans on the day?
