Ticket Office

Just left family day, I totally see the issue now. Shop was very busy and queues outside to get in, don't know if for shop or ticket office but with the one door, was causing a bottle neck for people entering/leaving

On matchdays the ticket office doors on the side of the building will be open I assume?

The problem today was solely down to Boomer being at the door. I went to the ticket office and it was fine. They did have the side windows open, it just wasn't advertised.

I think the only problem is going to be entering in address details for new customers every time.

I'll say again, we coped without problems for the Burton and Northampton games which were effectively all-ticket. I cannot understand why this is becoming such a huge issue for people?

That's the key.People need to get into the mindset of getting tickets before match day. Those 2 games you mention were virtually sold out before those particular matchdays.

The problem is that Brentford is not - all ticket in advance. whereas the two games you mention it was advertised that there would be no sales on the day and it became ever more obvious through Paul Wildes talking it up that it may be a sell-out.

Now Brentford is completely different - we are not going to sell out and we are offering 'pay on the day'

I really hope you are right and I'm wrong but i think that many many fans do not see it as anything other than 'pay on the day' and that is where the chaos will ensue when they all turn up within 30 mins of kick off.

All last season we bought tickets before going to the pub because it was common sense, but there will still be a lot who wont. The problem lies in the fact that whatever you tell them some will still arrive at 5 to 3 . These will in a lot of cases be floaters ie those that we need to impress enough to get them to come again. They are where the growth and extra players lies and we cant afford not to retain them.

Then lets impress them on the pitch where it matters.

The club need to get in the Senile, on Radio Joke and Signal to make sure as many people as possible get this message. Buy advertising time/space if necessary. No one on this forum should be in any doubt by now and I'm sure they will have spread the word as well. There are less and less clubs these days where you can turn up with cash at the turnstiles. Everyone else seems to manage.
