1000 away shirts...whats the deal?

Is it really a big deal?

 

I asked which address I should put on the form as I'd be moving house before they sent them out. They said it wouldn't be a problem as I'd be able to pick it up from the club shop. Great. I'm sure the procedure will be that you'll be able to pick them up from the shop from a particular date, then they'll dispatch the rest say a week later to the addresses given.

 

No drama brothers!

but do you know that will happen for a fact?again, no there is no dramas and certainly no moaning, but if the vale staff dont know if my shirt is going to be sent 200 miles in the wrong direction or not is slightly worrying!

Did anyone else get asked for a delivery address for their shirts (the ones with our names embroidered on)?

its just i rang them this morning to confirm i'm changing address and i wanted it sent to the new one, and the lady said that all shirts are to be picked up from the shop anyway and none are being delivered.

 

Good work Vale. Makes perfect sense. When you have to pick it up from the club shop you may buy something else. I imagine most will also pick theirs up on the opening game quite conveniently.

 

As for the Swedish ones, I'll pay for their delivery myself just to shut the whingers, namely Doha et al, up.

How on earth do you lot deal with your day to day lives when you worry about such minor issues in such massive detail on this site? 86 posts so far on a thread that frankly wouldn't be necessary if the individual made a 30 second call to the club shop.

Yeah, i did call the shop, and thats the response i got, that they didnt know if they were being delivered or not.

bobby, you really need to get with the times before commenting dude.several times i have said i called the shop, several times i have said their response, and several times i have said i am not worrying, i just want to know what is going to be happen to my shirt as i am moving home, a long way away from my previous address

Received this response by email from the club shop, if anyone's still unsure:

 

When the shirts are ready , we will be contacting each individual customer to confirm collection or posting out.

 

We have taken orders from all over the world, so obviously we would not expect these to collect.
