What about the Newcastle Town friendly? It's cheaper for season ticket holders but I doubt they'll be sent out prior to the match. I don't fancy having to go upto Vale Park to get a ticket in order to get in cheaper. Hopefully you'll be able to pay on the gate up Castle using your season ticket receipt as proof of purchase or something. This however hasn't been made clear.

I think you're mixed up with the Norton United game

I notice the website suggests Lorne St and Bycars will be closed for the friendlies. Never known Lorne St to be closed before.

Seems a strange decision to close the most modern area of the ground, especially when they're forcing everyone turning up on the night(s) to go to the ticket office then across to the Railway side - bit of an unnecessary faffe for people walking up from Burslem when it's a meaningless pre-season friendly!

As somebody said earlier they are closed atm.

Because of the building work in the surrounding area?

Is not the new ticket office by the Railway front gates?

Not a moan, just a concern... for a normal league game, you'll have 5,000 season ticket holders already with tickets, the away fans already with tickets, a load more home fans who have purchased tickets online. Therefore, you'll only be left with a handful of supporters queuing on the day at the ticket office.

Compare that to the friendlies where there'll be no season tickets and no onlines, leaving thousands of fans queuing down Hamil Road to get a ticket. Maybe not the most accurate of "trials"?

When would you suggest it was trialed?

Such a trial is a gerat example of boundary value analysis..push the system to its limits and see how it copes..if it handles that reasonably well then confidence can be high that it will cope when well within its planned boundaries/limits

Although largely an approach to software testing it has validity in the testing of all systems
