I've just asked on Twitter about the online tickets system. It won't be live for the friendlies, you need to get your tickets from the ticket office.

Shambles..that Smurf just cannot handle the big things, apart from the big things that he has already hancled

Not a moan, just a concern... for a normal league game, you'll have 5,000 season ticket holders already with tickets, the away fans already with tickets, a load more home fans who have purchased tickets online. Therefore, you'll only be left with a handful of supporters queuing on the day at the ticket office.

Compare that to the friendlies where there'll be no season tickets and no onlines, leaving thousands of fans queuing down Hamil Road to get a ticket. Maybe not the most accurate of "trials"?

Good test of the system, friendly crowd equivalent to a league walk up crowd? How many turnstile open with a friendly last season?

But if the Ticket Office can cope using 5/6 terminals it should cope with a high interest league game. Will there still be the portacabin for away supporters as with last season, or will they use the new ticket office, or will they have to buy in advance? Better a trial than chaos on opening day, or against Walsall?
