In fact, surely Adams will want most, if not all, of his squad to be in place for the start of his all-important pre-season training regime, which begins on 27 June.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I would love to see us sign Chris Hackett from Northampton.

 

He gave us no end of problems at Vale Park for our last home game of the season and was topping the assists charts in League 2 last season.

 

He would be a superb addition to our side.

we can forget about.

 

That's why we need to be realistic with our aspirations this season. MA knows what a massive task we have ahead of us this season in League 1. Players will come in and they will enhance the team, I have no doubt about that, but I think we've potentially set our sights a little too high with some of the suggestions on here. Only time will tell if MA can build a team strong enough to compete next season, but its up to us to try and provide him with his disposable income.
