John johnson also been released from northants .collins has been offered new contract .7 been released 7 offered new contracts.

I'm getting little worried how slow we are starting of signing players , half the ones offered new deals I would of let go if we are going to try and push on, I've got a feeling we ain't going get anyone any good and will sign rubbish in panic , I hope I'm wrong

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I would love to see us sign Chris Hackett from Northampton.

 

He gave us no end of problems at Vale Park for our last home game of the season and was topping the assists charts in League 2 last season.

 

He would be a superb addition to our side.

 

Yeah, I've mentioned him.

Jeno on the left and Hackett on the right would be a good combination.

Hackett's a grafter as well so would fit into MA's work ethic.

He is under contract though.

I can't remember Robinson doing a lot against us? Bit of a headless chicken by all accounts, has had the odd purple patch at Brighton, Shrews and Torquay but he keeps getting released for a reason!

i heard vale wanted him but went to the cobblers for more money a couple of seasons ago, was out of favour when aidy took over, just a thought cos he was quick, bit like haldane.

Reading the interview on the club site with MA today there will be a lot of players

we can forget about.

 

I am not to sure on that really,i think some of us are getting carried away on how the budget will affect us,i mean,we managed to get Lee Hughes on a budget less than this coming seasons,so it doesn't mean that we will have to scrape the barrel with a smallish league one budget(we were never going to sign players like Novak anyway).

They have cut their budget, so are off-loading.
