THANK YOU. Think its bout time we as fans began to show belief and ambition. Gillingham may be thowing money at Allen but who says thats gonna be as much as Smurf and Wildes are gonna give Micky. Wildes says he wants back to back, I'm therefore assuming that Micky's budget is gonna be more than competitive. Personally for me it would be a bitter blow if we were to be outbid by a club like Gillingham next season, after all this talk of Championship ambitions.

I agree that it sounds like agent talk to me. Dan has done very well in his short time here, but he hasn't become an Aspin or a Glover yet - he's not absolutely central to the team. We must do our best to keep him, but there has to come a time (a wage?) where we think we could get better and let someone else pay the silly money. Sheffield Wednesday fans don't rate him as Championship class anyway do they?

Port Vale are going places, Jones is playing 1st team football & we can compete with most if not all financially. Why would he want to move?
