I think it's because we aren't 'technically' up.

 

I hope they take more notice when we hammer Wycombe into pre-season next week and showcase what we've been about this season.

Theyve been poor all season, more so with claridge who is a clown. Leyroy is decent and often gives us credit. I was very surprised we didnt get a mention last night, although Gills became champions, very frustrating though. Late kick off will be much better.

The FLS on the whole is a load of dross. I can't stand it, they way they try and analyze a one all draw between P'Boro and Burnley infuriates me... just show the goals and mention the ups and downs.

I was dissappointed with the FLS as well. And coverage on the local news is poor - my missus is amazed when we arnt mentioned but ive just got used to it

The time to judge is next weekend when we are officially/technically promoted. The league tables don't show that 'p' against Vale yet, so the national media won't acknowlegde it, and Fls said we were 'all but there'.

 

Works both ways - as those going to Wycombe next week can have another party, and even though everybody knows a goal swing of -28 is absurd and wont happen (even if it was an 8 or 9 goal swing, Id still be relaxed about it), we can't say 'can I have a p Bob' yet.

 

Nice to be able to relax, also good if we could win at Wycombe - there is no pressure now and let's keep the 2nd place we have had all season and not let Rotherham sneak above us.

 

Plenty of adoration and coverage next week on FLS please !

Not sure what FLS you've been watching. Almost every week we were getting a mention - especially when we had big wins. They commended MA quite a bit as well early on in the season considering we came out of admin. But....you need to see it in context - on the whole, Div2 only gets about 5 minutes of the show, so they ain't ever gonna waffle on too much. It will be a bit different next year!

There is currently a thread on our site (Gillingham) also complaining about the FLS .

We won the league yesterday and barely got a mention.

I only check it out on a Sunday morning on line to watch the goals and skip over the verbal dross.
