I told him **** off when he put that second goal in and i wonder if he went off injured cause he did not want to cause us more pain by scoring a hat trick??

 

Not sure he would have done as he never moves and they did not get a lot of chances after his second. Mind you he did not get many before

Richards comments today shows hw much he loved his time here and how much affinity he has for the club. The hate and vitriol shouted by some was out of order IMHO. When he got injured earlier in the season where was he on the 1st Saturday out? Not watching his beloved Chesterfield, but here at Vale Park watching his old friends and ex team mates. Like Cheeky has said no one will be booing Ainsworth ( rightly so ) so why the hatred towards MR.

Or ran around like a headless chicken? Rico scored 100 goals, how can you knock him? How is that not giving your all? Calvin Andrew gives a 100% but is being abused on another thread.

 

I'd hardly call Super Gareth a headless chicken.

I never saw him give less than 100% in any game,he left us to play in the Premier League and he certainly didn't go missing at Christmas.

Three good reasons there.

I really don't understand anyone who could be anything but positive regarding RICO.

He served us well, was a captain, remained loyal and imo was our best player for 3/5 seasons?????
