Recommended Posts

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/#?tab=fiveDay

I dunner think this "snow" will stick. Not cold enough. Just be a bit slushy on the walk up Hamil Rd is all.

Fingers Crossed n all that.

Stays at 0'c early hours of Friday straight through, until Friday night when drops slightly below. Down to minus 4 by Monday, so if do get any won't shift much.

Snow will stick, Dewpoint temps. stay below 0c all through the weekend, temps at 1500 mtrs -8c. We'll get 6ins plus. Met Office also already concerned about a similar weather system late next week. Cheltenham could be off too. Some serious cold until Easter Weekend.

Snow way game will be off. Rain all your pessimistic thoughts in. Weather or not we play we are still going to get promoted. Mist opportunity to carry on good form if game off. Thunderous applause if we get game on!

Will be there like lightning. Beginning of our progression to rain at the top come the end of this season. Just stand back if I've got the wind.

Blow me, another witty Valiant! Let off for others if you stand clear when you let rip. Clouds one's view when too much hot air present. Hail all other Vale fans who might not see the game if they are under the weather or taking a rain check. We have to put on ice our celebrations in the event of a postponement but we may attract some fair weather friends when we do play the game.

That's for Dudley, which was supposed to be on the Rain area, so looks like going hit us:

It's not actually going to be that cold though, so in theory the pitch shouldn't freeze so long as the covers are on. Clear the pitch on Saturday morning with the help of some local folk and play with an orange ball. The Football League won't want fixtures piling up at this stage in the season.

Saying that it's the non-league I feel sorry for. There are already quite a few teams in the Northern Prem who have still got to play 13 league matches between now and the end of April!
