Plus the running costs, I'm sure I heard it cost around 30k to ensure a match was played in bad weather, not viable for us just yet.

under soil heating costs £500k a year to run and maintain,prem clubs easily afford this due to the cash cow that is the prem and sky!

just listened to the phone in, couldnt believe what paul come out with its amazing what hes done since been at vale and what plans he has is simply first class... hope he can pull them all off which im sure he will do

I think Wildes gets all the plaudits but lets not forget the Smurf as well,both have been fantastic for Vale so far.

I have mixed feelings about this. New family stand.. Great idea. So close to the foul mouthed away fans..not so sure.

 

An alternative would be to flip Lorne St about, so that the adult facilities would be moved to the Hamil side, and the family facilities installed in the Bycars side. Just an idea.

That's a good idea as you could then potentially attract vocal vale fans either side of the Hamil.
