Vale fans finding something to complain about... complete non shocker.

Hi Cooper.

This is one Vale fan who, if youve read my original post, has spent 120 quid already on shirts.

I dare say more than yourself, i maybe wrong.

I think i am justified since the home top of two years ago was absolutely woeful.

I want my shirts to last. A 40 quid i should expect them to.

Yes i am moaning, in a constructive way and i want the club to see it.

Ive got a refund today and the club shop were very helpful.

Your remarks are shallow and naive.

Come see me and say that to my face about me moaning.

Cheers.

The only shirt I bought (and I have over 40 from down the years) that really disappointed was 2002 (ish) goalie top. I put Delaney on the back just before he left! Then got it home and found that the arms (long sleeve) were different lengths! I have kept it anyway foe comedy value more than anything. The latest tops were OK for me, I must be an average "Euro" large sized male. A new (more trendy) brand next year would freshen things up a bit. Even if it was George @ Asda, I would still buy one tho.

Whether the shirt is £5 or £50 the quality is awful and does not sell the club in a good light.

I would have thought that Club apparel and merchandise is a major revenue income for the Vale.

The Kit lets be honest has been awful in quality for a while now.

This is a competetive industry and I'm sure that the new owners are fully aware of this

It's constructive.

I really want to buy some merchandise other than the shirt - a hoodie, fitted polo, something like that.

I went in the shop in the week and it's nothing but ill-fitting, pastel pink or blue worth nothing more than a market tenner.

I'd be more than willing to pay £40-£60 for something of excellent quality - nike, puma, adidas....it would be great to be able to have high spec clothing to put on Christmas and birthday lists. I never ask for or get anything Vale related for any occasion because there is just nothing special enough....in fact the last time I bought a sweatshirt was the Christmas before we played Arsenal in the FA Cup....that was what 1997/98?

The shop could be a goldmine and definitely needs moving as the new owners have already suggested.
