Exodus on racist abuse at vale

Myself and others also confronted a Vale fan using racist language at Sheffield United, right at the end of the game. The bloke called their full back a black b**tard. This was in the lower tier just to the left of the goal.

It's not as unusual at Vale (away) games as some seem to think.

We were in the upper tier towards the back - it was only very briefly, if it had happened a few times I'd have said something

A lot of people come on here and complain, but it's far harder to confront a ****** up bloke racially abusing someone at a game.

What happened to that number you could text to report racism at Vale Park? I thought that was a good idea, but it only seemed to last a couple of seasons.

Good shout, that kind of thing should be available at all grounds.

It makes me sick too hear that kind of language but i don't think i'd be comfortable confronting a drunken racist lout at a game, especially when emotions are high.

I think i'm with tim. Its horrible, but its being sensationalised ln both sides. That video shows a stand full of animosity towards gannon and one bigoted scumbag.

Not a baying racist mob.

For what it is worth my take on this is that it was bang out of order to use racist language to Ex. End of! Lets stop trying to explain or even justify for heaven's sake.

The fact that he is one of - if not the worst - player I have ever seen at vale or anywhere else is neither here nor there. Can we put this one to rest please as we're giving him far more time than he abilities warrant?

I'm pleased to see that there are enough people on here prepared to tell those who use racist language to pipe down. The only good thing about this thread.

How can you say you're pretty confident he heard nothing on the day? Nonsense. If he heard it, he heard it.

Because only one person shouted it at the time, and that was hardly audible and he didnt say ANYTHING at the time about it,only when that thread came out. Thats why im pretty confident. If he heard it,he heard it is a silly comment, people can lie you know.

By using a racist remark in the 1960s I suppose I started a fight at Wrexhams Racecourse ground.

At the tea bar I said to some Wrexham lads " I tell from your accents that you were born in ENGLAND's biggest county "

"........ wales !"

Then the fighting started.

On the other hand my wife asked if the dress she got for Christmas made her look fat .........

"Fatter !" was not a good reply

Then the fighting started.

The then incumbents of the club refused to deal with complaints made to the number, or accept free anti-racism training provided by VAR to the club and its stewards. Similarly, they failed to properly address complaints made via Kick It Out. Some of the people who were most obstructive to offers of training and support, remain employed by the club.

Only one person shouted it at the time!?

How do you know that? All-encompassing hearing, perhaps?

Or are you basing that opinion on that crummy mobile-phone footage on youtube?

PS "If he heard it, he heard it" means he heard what he heard.

Spot on, when I complained about the three scumbags I heard spouting it at Accrington and the two scumbags at Bury to the respective stewards little or nothing was done as they were clearly intoxicated and all both sets of stewards seemed to want to do was get fans out of the ground. Its clear as this thread unravels and more instances come to light particularly at away games the club could do with acting by possibly having undercover stewards in the support identifying such 'fans' and having them arrested and banned permanently from all grounds.

Just like Exodus you are going completely over the top. Accrington and Exodus have absolutely nothing to do with what you saw at Bury. To listen to him you would lmagine the whole away end was shouting racial abuse, we all know they weren't. Exodus is using the race card to divert attention away from his actions which were nothing to do with racist chanting, thats as bad in my book.

That is a job I would love to be honest.
