Like us to play like we did at Rotherham with a really strong midfield and hope for a similar result. Some tough calls to make, I'd like to see Dodds in but you cant drop Williamson, Duffy's back in as he seems to play better away from home on a smaller pitch and Davis keeps his place as when he's on the pitch we don't seem to concede which is a good enough reason for me. Vincent to the bench not at it at the moment but good sub to bring on.

I would go with that but Adams won't. He got tactically caught out by Martin Allen at Vale Park so Adams will want to redress the balance so I think he will surprise people with his team come next Saturday.

Same shape as today and same lineup except with Purse and Morsy (if fit) replacing Chilvers and Shuker- even though both played well today.

Very difficult in view of today's result with arguably 3-4 'better' players sitting out the game.

How fit are Birchall and Purse? Will we sign anyone else before next weekend? It sounds like it.

 

I haven't got a clue which X1 he'll go with but I think we'll err on the side of caution and make sure we are solid in midfield.

It was encouraging today to see 1-2 fringe players doing so well.

vincent sub - hes still obviously not got over that stomach bug at xmas which anyone will know who has had it that it does knock you for 6 , hes a yard short of pace and tbh needs a break for a couple of games

taylor deserves a shot on the left in place. if birchall isnt fit, either dodds or burge
