Alex OVF photographer refused entry to news conf

He's not an official press member so can't see the problem with him being turned away.

 

We wanted more professionalism from the club - well here's the first indication of that professionalism.

dont see the problem. it's a press conference for the press with selected invited guests. we will get our chance at the open meeting. they have to draw the line somewhere or there would be 100s if not 1000s of fans trying to get in.

Crikey, it didn't take long did it.

 

With no offence meant to Alex, but why should he be allowed as a member of the public, into a PRESS conference. Martin you can obviously understand being allowed in, as with Benno given he is on the supporters club committee.

 

A lot of fuss over nothing. The days when the chairman would have a quiet whisper in someones ear, invite them into his office with confidential documents on show, and not care about telling anyone anything, are over. The club will now be run professionally. Get used to it.

Good, he is not press therefore he shouldnt be allowed in - the same as I shouldn't be. More professionalism was what we wanted from new owners. Are you officially the first person to register discontent with the new men?! Well done sir, you achieved it within 24hrs.

Not being funny Mellor but 'nosy fan' is a bit harsh. I accept that I may not of been allowed in now without a press pass but at the end of the day, i'm OVF photographer and I get paid as a photographer so thought i'd try to get photo's for this for everyone to see. Won't bother next time if i'm just being 'nosy'
